How does

PolyeLearning work?

PolyeLearning is the online learning platform that PEC uses to give students access to our Pasifika language courses. It is powered by Moodle.

It means that you can access both your course materials and tutor support via your computer, your tablet or iPad, and even via your smart phone.

You will need access to WIFI and/or mobile data in order to use the the PEC PolyeLearning platform.

All students using PolyeLearning, can access both learning content and learning support.  In PolyeLearning, you will be able to:

  1. Access the teaching materials from your class (ie powerpoint slides, audio files, video files and anything else that was used during the teaching of your class)

  2. Find important information about your course (ie important dates, student handbook etc)

  3. Talk directly with your tutor in a private and secure environment, and/or contribute to class talanoa (discussions) via group chat

  4. Upload any work you have completed directly to your tutor (ie a video of you introducing yourself, a picture of your village, a written speech etc)

  5. Share materials that you have to support your learning that you want to share with the rest of the class.
