What is Moodle?
Moodle is the online learning platform that PEC uses to give students access to our online Pasifika language courses.
It means that you can access both your course materials and tutor support via your computer, your tablet or iPad, and even via your smart phone.
You will need access to WIFI and/or mobile data in order to use the PEC online Moodle platform.
What can you do in Moodle?
All students using Moodle, can access both learning content and learning support through the Moodle platform. In Moodle, you will be able to:
Access the teaching materials from your class (ie powerpoint slides, audio files, video files and anything else that was used during the teaching of your class)
Find important information about your course (ie course calendar, student handbook etc)
Talk directly with your tutor in a private and secure environment, and/or contribute to class talanoa (discussions) via group chat
Upload any work you have completed directly to your tutor (ie a video of you introducing yourself, a picture of your village, a written speech etc)
Share and collaborate material that you have to support your learning that you want to share with the rest of the class.
How do students access Moodle?
When you complete your enrolment, you will be issued with a login and a password.
